LET US END THE FEDERAL RESERVE

President Trump caused a fire storm Thursday morning, calling for the ouster of Fed Chair Powell. While I do support the ouster for FED Chair Powell this is something that the Federal Reserve must vote on and it is not at the discretion of President Trump. In this case President Trump can only advise the Federal Reserve. But the Federal Reserve is suppose to be independent of politics. That means the discretion to fire Chairman Powell really depends on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and not President Trump.
President Trump, declared that the "termination of Federal Reserve Chair can not come fast enough." Although I agree with President Trump it is not for President Trump to say or fire him and President Trump should mind his own business and run the country. The discretion to fire or not fire Chairman Powell resides with the Board of Governors at the Federal Reserve and not President Trump.
The Federal Reserve is independent of politics. Let us keep it that way. As always, comments are accepted.
