TRUMPLAND: THE LAND OF BROKEN PROMISES

President Trump promised to be a deal-maker. With that, he has fallen short in many more ways than one.
He promised to build the wall. That is semi-true, there is some construction on the wall, but there is no wall as we speak on the southern border, and it is not finished. But let us face it, President Trump is not only building the wall to defend his criticism of racism by people on the left, he is building the wall to stop the potential flood of Democratic voters into this nation.
President Trump promised to bring down prices. Still, inflation is very high. The prices have gone down, but not at the rate that people want to see. The only thing the people of America are feeling is pain and a lighter wallet with very little change in it.
He promised to bring down gas prices. Those still remain too high. The fact is, America is the largest exporter of oil and natural gas in the world right now. Why are we exporting this oil? We should be using this oil here at home to bring down gas prices.
President Trump promised to be a dealmaker. He has broken that promise and the dealing with high tariffs and starting a trade war with other nations.
President Trump promised to end wars and not start any new wars. He has started a war...he has started a trade war with the rest of the world. Yes, I agree that there is a trade imbalance that needs to be fixed by President Trump. But putting tariffs on the world has and will only increase prices, which it has.
The fact of the matter is that we have been billed an empty bag of goods and an empty bag of prices. In this Trump economy, it is all people that suffer...except for President Donald Trump. As always, comments are accepted.
