PRESIDENT TRUMP RESTORES FUNDING TO NEW YORK

TRUMP RESTORES FUNDING TO NEW YORK STATE

By: Derek Varsalona

President Trump can have an attack on Senator Schumer all he wants.  But leaving New Yorkers out in the cold was the wrong thing to do to take down his actions.  After Republicans complained, President Trump restored funding of $187 million in Security funds to New York State.

President Trump was wrong to cut the security funding for New York State.  I agree Senator Schumer is a bad man.  But that does not need to be taken out of New Yorkers for a horrible Senator in which they voted for.

President Trump secured  the government funding to New York since he wants to be seen as tough on terrorism and tough on crime.  This was only a political move for him.  Most other states would be grateful to President Trump.  But do not count on New Yorkers to call him a hometown hero.  The fact is the New York is very much a Democratic state.  Sadly it might always will be.

The reason for that is there are a lot of people that need help in New York.  A lot of people are poor and immigration isa key to New York economy both illegal and legal.  Always has been since the original immigrants came to Ellis Island.

But do not look for President Trump to get any backing in New York.  Most New Yorkers vote Democratic they like to be wards of the state.

As for Schumer he needs to go.  It is Schumer that has caused this shutdown to occur.  As always comments accepted.
