AMERICA IS NOT SAFE UNDER TRUMP
By: Derek Varsalona
With a raging war in Iran and crime on the rise, along with inflation, which is easing, people do not feel safe in their own neighborhoods. The Democrats have caused this unsafe feeling by making a war on cops and advocating for gun control laws that take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens and puts it in the hands of criminals.
President Trump supports victims' rights of violent offenders. But this is good, but the measure does not go far enough. There are a few ways to have a safer neighborhood. First of having two parents in the home has the best chance at success for the child. I do think that without a male father figure for a boy, the boy might become a violent criminal, a drug user, or an alcoholic.
The cost of living is making the crime rate skyrocket in America. The fact that it is so hard to survive nowadays, people have to resort to the black market and a life of crime to make a living, it pays better than legal work.
The murder rate has indeed fallen in this nation. That is a good thing. But murder is still very popular in the inner cities and the ghettos. Doesn't tell people in Memphis that the murder rate has fallen nationwide. As of right now, Memphis has the highest murder rate. So, the claim is that gun control will solve that problem. They are totally wrong. You see, when you have gun control, you take the guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens and place it in the hands of violent criminals. The best way to control your gun is with two hands, not government intervention.
