JIMMY KIMMEL SHOULD NOT BE FIRED

As a comedian, I am going to stand up for fellow comedian Jimmy Kimmel against personal attacks and ask to be fired by President Trump. Jimmy Kimmel is a great entertainer and comedian. Whether or not he should be fired for making comments about the Trumps is up to the executives at ABC, not President Trump. I agree that what Jimmy Kimmel said about Melania and President Trump was hurtful. Buy on the same token, President Trump has made hurtful comments towards the disabled, and not one Republican has spoken out. Former President Barack Obama made hurtful comments on the Jay Leno show, claiming his blowing game was like the Special Olympics.
The fact of the matter is that as an American, Jimmy Kimmel has the right to freedom of speech. Actually, his livelihood and my performance as a comedian are dependent on my protection of Freedom of Speech. It is vital to both Jimmy Kimmel and my career, although Jimmy Kimmel has much more to lose.
Few Republicans are speaking out in an effort to defend Kimmel, which is sad. That is because President Trump is a billionaire who can fund their campaigns. That is sad. Jimmy Kimmel should not be fired but given a new contract. Unfortunately, when President Trump holds the purse strings, values walk and money talks. As always, comments accepted.
