TRUMP'S PAUSE FALLS SHORT FOR AMERICA

This morning, President Trump announced a temporary 50% pause on Canadian goods for America, but this measure does nothing to benefit our nation. A mere three-day pause is insufficient to create any tangible impact. It will expire before anyone truly feels the consequences of such a decision.
This temporary halt on tariffs is not only ineffective but also dismissive of both Americans and Canadians. I propose a substantial three-year pause, which would facilitate real progress; however, President Trump, known as the "dealmaker in chief," has opted for an underwhelming solution. I also find myself wondering how this pause will affect trades between professional sports franchises. As always, I welcome your thoughts on this matter.
