THE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF OCTOBER 7

Today, is a year anniversary of October 7, a deadly day in Jewish history that is as despicable as the Holocaust. I feel sad for the people who have lost their lives in this tragic war.
The last thing I want is for America to get involved with this war on the ground. America should not be supporting either side in this war. Ideally, a cease-fire would not benefit all sides. In a cease fire the supporters must admit that Hamas would win the cease-fire. I do not think it would be a true ceasefire as the only way for Palestine and Hamas to win in their mind is to occupy the land that is now Israel, which Palestine claims Israel is occupying which is true. Palestine was on that territory before Israel was created.
The fact is a cease-fire would only benefit Hamas. But do not think Palestine will give up. It is like a serial killer, they will have a cooling off period before they wreak havoc again on Israel.
October 7, was a tragic day in Israel and a tragic day for the American Jewish people. But again this is not America's war. If America wants to be a negotiation and negotiate a cease-fire they must stop taking sides and act as a neutral party. As always comments accepted.
