PETER HEGSETH WRONG CHOICE FOR DEFENSE SECRETARY

I'll admit it, Peter Hegseth is a well-accomplished Veteran.  As an Ivy League graduate of ROTC at Princeton and a Platoon Leader, he is well accomplished.  But that does not mean he should be Defense Secretary.

What troubles me about Pete Hegseth is his mistreatment toward women.  He does think that women deserve to serve in combat roles which I agree with.  If women want equal protection under the law in employment then women should serve in combat roles in the military.  However, what is concerning is what he has said about women and how he views women in the military.  I do not have any specific quotes to share.  But Peter does not think too highly of women in the military.

As Defense Secretary, you need to be a Secretary for all people in your unit both combat role and reservist alike.  Since Pete Hegseth does not have a great view of women in the military he should not be Defense Secretary.  Women and Men of the military I say this with all my heart. Thank you for your service and for protecting my freedom of speech to blog and podcast every day, even if I give a dissenting view from the Trump Administration.  As always comments accepted.
