CUTTING MEDICAID AND PASSING IT TO STATES IS A GOOD IDEA

President Trump is going to cut Medicaid to crack down on illegal immigration at the Southern border. Being a disabled American this should concern me a great deal. But it is something that I do support. The Federal government should crack down on Medicaid Fraud by tackling waste, fraud, and abuse. In my book, the federal government should not even be involved in Medicaid Expansion since this is a state-funded program.
Medicaid should belong to the states. The federal government should have no business implementing Medicaid, overseeing Medicaid, or directing Medicaid in any way shape, or form. Medicaid is a state rights issue and should be dealt with by the states, not the federal government.
Being disabled one would think that I am unhappy with this. But I am not. I am very happy with President Trump's action. The federal government should have no business dictating the state of Medicaid. Medicaid is a state issue and each state can do what they want with Medicaid.
I am in full support of President Trump cutting the rope that ties the Federal government to Medicaid. Give the power back to the states to do what they want. As always comments are accepted.
