THE ECONOMY IS HUMMING, BUT LAZY ISN'T FEELING IT
By: Derek Varsalona
The Trump Economy is humming and improving, but not everyone is feeling it. That is because we still have lazy people in society, mainly the poor, who want to sit around and collect welfare. The fact is, there is a job right now for everyone who wants a job, and that is thanks to President Trump.
But to keep the economy humming and improving, President Trump needs to do one thing and one thing only. Get the government out of the way and practice laissez-faire economic. The best approach to keeping this economy moving along is for the government to get out of the way, and I mean totally out of the way, and let the free market chug along successfully.
President Trump has increased jobs by 345,000 since January. But the job market can do better. What we need to do is get the people on benefits working to maintain those benefits. I support a program of welfare to work. Look, I am disabled. But I work as an assistant swim instructor. I love my job and love working, the feeling of giving back to society. The best way to do this is to make a welfare-to-work program in society. Why a businessman like President Trump has not incorporated this is beyond me. My plan is to work for everyone to get benefits; one must either be employed or volunteer a few days a week. Under this plan, everyone takes something from society, and everyone gives back to society. And yes people collecting social security in retirement would have to volunteer a few days a week to collect social security unless they are incapacitated.
President Trump is providing jobs for the needy. In this economy, you do not want to work to find a job. The best way to get this economy moving again at a record pace is to incorporate a welfare-to-work strategy. Everyone gives a little and everyone takes a little. As always, comments are accepted.
