TRUMP PHASES OUT PENNY

It seems like President Abe Lincoln can get shot in the head twice, this time in a sneaky attack by a member of his own party. Today, President Donald Trump and the U.S. Treasury Department are beginning to phase out the American penny by stopping all production of the product.
President Trump is phasing out the penny. I do not agree with this. Is the penny worthless, not quite. It is worth one cents. So it will no longer be a penny for your thoughts. What is next we will be nickel and dime to death?
The phasing out of the penny will begin early next year most likely in January. Talk about President Trump giving President Lincoln the cold shoulder. I do not support phasing out the penny.
According to government sources, the US Treasury and the US government lost $8 million in production over producing the penny. The end of production will begin early next year. As always comments accepted.
