PRESIDENT TRUMP'S WRONG MOVE ON NPR

President Trump made the wrong move on NPR.  I support him in defunding the station.  But since the state receives federal funding, that means that President Trump and the US Taxpayer partially own the NPR  and PBS organizations.  The better approach would have been to sell off the entirety for a profit.  If these receive government funding, which they do, it means the government and the public partially own the entity.

The better approach would be for President Trump to sell the public entity for a profit. This would save taxpayers money in the long run, and the people should receive a tax break from the sale of the organization.

This is not about being Liberal or Conservative, to me. But PBS is poorly managed since it is government-controlled. The fact of the matter is that the government should not be sticking its nose in trying to control the message of the media. By doing this, the government is invading the station's free speech since the government has a special interest, which is usually not in the interest of the public. As always, comments are accepted.
