FURLOUGHED WORKERS MIGHT NOT RECEIVE BACK PAY
By: Derek Varsalona
President Trump might be great to work for, even though he is a screwed businessman. He loves to save his money and nickel-and-dime his workers wherever possible. That is not a far-fetched issue for the workers of the federal government.
President Trump plans on not paying workers for days missed due to the Schumer Shutdown. I suspect that the government is going to open up by Monday at the latest,t is my prediction. That's not because Senator Schumer cares about the federal union workers. It is simply a matter of fact that the politicians do not want to lose their back pay during the Schumer Shutdown.
I actually did not know that this is possible. Then again, I am not a lawyer; I am an assistant swim coach. I suspect that the issue of back pay is going to go up to the Supreme Court. I also suspect that the Supreme Court is going to side with President Donald Trump in saving money.
As for President Trump, this is unethical and wrong. But no one ever said that President Trump was an ethical man. He is more of a penny pincher. As always, comments are accepted.
