WILL THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ OPEN?

With the Strait of Hormuz still closed by President Trump, the world is on edge. President Trump is single-handedly opening up the world to inflation by closing down the Straight of Hormuz. With international trade stalling the price of oil and everything after that is going through the roof.
The Republicans used to be about free trade. The Democrats used to love taxes and tariffs. Not anymore. Democrats still love tariffs and taxes, but it is the Republicans who abandon their principles on free trade.
Closing the Straight of Hormuz can be nothing more than a disaster. Everything is going to go up in cost. What I worry about are the people on the Straight that need medical supplies, food, and fresh water daily. It is not like they live in America, where everything is at your beck and call. They live in the Straight of Hormuz, where everything is scarce with trade shut down, and prices are going up. As always, comments are accepted.
