TRUMP MISSES THE MARK ON MENTAL ILLNESS

I personally do not have a mental illness.  I do know some people who have it, and no being a Liberal does not make one mentally ill.  Mental Illness is a serious situation in America.  I believer that drug addiction to illegal and/or prescription narcotics are gateway drugs that can lead to life long dependency and mental illness.  President Trump is trying to solve the problem.  Kudos to him but he does not go far enough in the measure.  The one thing that is going to prevent someone with a mental illness from doing harm to one self or another loved one is being and feeling loved in return.  Shock therapy, verbal abuse other forms of abuse are not going to help or cure the victim of mental illness.  I am not a doctor, nor do i play one on TV, but I do know the struggles.

President Trump claims the medical field has long struggled to address the burden of mental illness.  That is because they are not trying to cure mental illness.  It is a multi million dollar or multi billion dollar industry the phramachueticals trying to manage mental illness.  They never try to cure mental illness since that would dry up the monies and finances associated with funding the disease.  

Follow the money and you find why there is no cure for diseases only ways to treat them.  Once you find the cure the money dries up after a one hit wonder.  Why would the government and the pharmaceuticals want to do that?

Between 2018-2020 the suicide rate in this nation has risen by 37%.  Yes, I a m a profile Libertarian who supports President Trump but not Republicans.  The fact of the matter is there is a way to combat suicide.  Like John Lennon and the Beatles Said all you need is love.  Try it sometime and a Jesus said love one another.  As always comments accepted.
