CHINA WILL ALWAYS BE AN ADVERSARY
By: Derek Varsalona
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellin declared that China must not be an adversary to the United States in relations. But China will always be America’s adversary as a result of bringing coronavirus to America and the rest of the world. The question is how do you deal with China. As much as I do not agree we must trade with China. China holds a good portion of the American debt in the world and being so, America must continue to free trade with China.
America is worried about the industrial capacity of China. China a nation with most of the world's population behind India now, is a major industrial player as well as a major pollutant in the world. The United States is right to worry about China’s industrial output. The way to combat this is for America to cut regulations including environmental regulations on industries. Let free enterprise decide whether or not a business fails or succeeds without government involvement. If we do not reform industrials and allow more free trade with nations that we do not like America will always be struggling to keep pace with China in the long run.
The Chinese Premier, Li Qiang, claimed that America and China must respect each other. It was pretty hard for me to respect China when they brought Corona Virus into the world. America must stand tough in negotiations with China. America must keep a close eye on China. You never know when China will commit the next bioterrorism attack like they did with the coronavirus. As always comments accepted.
China will always be an adversary
