CLIMATE CHANGE CAUSED HURRICANE HELENE

I am going to get some detractors and some supporters on this post when I talk about climate change.  But climate change is real and it is really killing us.  Hurricane Helene is killing the South right now.  Hurricane Helene is a real threat to our very existence.  The fact of the matter is that the storms are getting stronger and more deadly than ever before.  Hurricane Helene is just the starting point of a very big disaster. 

Hurricane Helena hit Tennessee and the Appalachian Trail along with Kentucky today.  There is major devastation.  It would be wise for former President Trump and current Vice President Harris to make campaign stops in the storm-ravaged communities if it is safe to do so.  President Biden should also make a stop there to show Presidential support.  

I support the government giving as a much-needed assistance.  This is going to take years of recovery and the states need all the help from FEMA that they can get.  Now is not the time to play politics with the funding.  Normally I would support first the funding on the local and state levels.  But this storm did too much damage.  It is going to take local funding, state funding, and federal funding to complete the major task at hand.  The fact is these states can not go it alone in this time of crisis.

The fact of the matter is that climate change is killing us.  There is still debate over whether or not men and woman have caused this.  I believe that people are part of the concern over climate change but not the overall factor.  We can change our lifestyle so much and it still is not going to make a dent in climate change.  

People already picked their poison and people are ignoring the consequences that they they see before their very eyes.  The fact of the matter is that climate change has caused Hurricane Helene to become so powerful and deadly.  People have something to do with it but we are not fully to blame.  The fact is that we are all screwed literally in terms of climate change.  Americans drank their poison by ignoring climate change. We cannot change course.  Americans and the world have made their bed on climate change by ignoring the consequences. Now we have to lie in it.  As always comments accepted.
