THE ALCOHOL CANCER LINK

The American Surgeon General wants America to go sober. Not because he is afraid that you might get pulled over driving but because he is warning of the cancer risk associated with alcohol. A word to the wise everyone should be in moderation if you want to. So no more getting druunk. However, the government should not be responsible for protecting the American public. Protection of yourself is from yourself. Your body is your own and the government does not own your body.
I thank the Surgeon General for their concern. But a person should make their own decision on alcohol consumption. It is not the government's responsibility to tell me how much alcohol to drink. It is not the government's responsibility to declare me an alcoholic or not. I am not an alcoholic but the fact of the matter is I like to indulge.
Everything is a government scare tactic. This Surgeon General's Warning is another scare tactic. Your body is your temple. Do what you may please with your body. As always comments accepted.
