THE GREAT NYC CONGESTION TAX

Watch out New Yorkers.  The greatest city in the world is coming up with the greatest tax in the world.  The Congestion Tax.  This is another tax on the rich by the Democrats to try and get you out of your gas-guzzling car and into more mass transit.  It is a Green Energy Policy gone wrong to protect the unions and stop people from using their free will to decided how they want to live and if they want to drive into the city.  The city his dangerous enough on public transportation and this new tax is going to put not only an economic strain on people but also leave a commuting nightmare for people.

This tax by its very nature is discriminatory.  It discriminates against drivers.  The Congestion Tax is an ugly tax on the rich that will harm the city by crowding public transportation where the people do not feel safe.  

This law protects the union class and hits the working class very hard. It is not the government’s responsibility to tell me how to live my life or when to drive.

The congestion tax is going to be very hard on people with disabilities who drive. Most people, especially people with disabilities, love to drive. They love the independence that it gives them on a daily basis. The congestion tax is going to be a burden on drivers with disabilities as it is going to make them lose the independence that they feel when they are allowed to drive.

Not only does this law discriminate against drivers, it is also a payback to unions and protection for the unions.  That is what this is all about with Mayor Eric Adams.  As a Democrat, he is trying to protect the unions that elected him in the first place.   It protects the unions whose drivers drive the subway, taxis, city bus, and ferry just to name a few methods of transportation.

Yes, it is true that the program will reduce travel time. But the question I have is at what cost? This new tax on the working class is going to make life more expensive in an already expensive city like NYC.  

Yes, we are protecting the environment by pushing cars off the road.  But let us look at the bigger picture.  This is a way to get the gas-guzzling cars off the road since the Democrats think that big oil is bad and move to Electric Vehicles.  Now, what do the Democrats want to do this?  That is because the Environmentalists contribute to their campaign.

Another union that Mayor Adams is protecting is the Postal Workers Union.  If you do not have an EZ Pass the city is going to mail you a bill.  This is going to increase paperwork,  creating more back-office union jobs for city workers and the post office alike.

This is another taxon on the rich, as Representative Alexandra Ocasio Cortez once bragged about with her tax the rich dress for the Met Gala.  But what happens when the rich move out of NYC since their taxes are going up? All that is going to be left is the poor holding an empty bag.

This congestion tax is a horrible Idea.  It is a payback to the unions and discriminates against drivers.  The Congestion tax is a tax on the rich that will force people onto public transportation protecting union workers.  As always comments accepted.
