TRUMP TARIFFS: LIFE IS ABOUT TO GET MORE EXPENSIVE

The Republicans claim to try and make life more affordable by cutting taxes. The fact of the matter is, President Trump is going to make life more expensive and is already doing so with unnecessary tariffs that he is placing on the rest of the world. I agree with President Trump that we have a trade deficit and America is getting screwed. But putting a tariff on another nation is not going to solve the trade imbalance. It is only going to increase the trade imbalance in this nation. Life is about to get more expensive. If life does not change with these tariffs, life is going to see a sticker shock by the time the holidays and holiday season roll around.
For decades, there has been a one-sided trade war against America. I agree with President Trump that that needs to stop. But declaring a trade war on your allies and enemies alike is not the right way to go about solving the trade imbalance. The better way is to negotiate a settlement with better trade practices and free trade amongst nations. What the trade war does is spit in the face of NAFTA and the other trade agreements we have with the rest of the world. I essentially think that NAFTA is dead on arrival as of right now. NAFTA was taken off life support and is officially dead due to the stupid trade war that President Trump is establishing.
The fact is, the trade war is not going to decrease inflation. It is only going to increase the inflation of products just when I believe the high prices were going to go down. Now, everything is going to go up.
Look, we are three weeks away from EASter. That is the week that most college kids go on expensive and ruckus Spring Break parties. I suspect the travel to Mexico and the cost of the Corona Beers are going to go up as a result of these tariffs. The Spring Breakers are going to spend more money on their Coronas and other items that they choose to consume on Spring Break.
Life is about to get more expensive. It was President Trump who made life more expensive with tariffs and not the Democrats. As always, comments are accepted.
