THE CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCE

The climate change conference was yesterday. I am not one of those people who believe that Climate Change is a hoax. I certainly do believe that the climate is changing. It's not a major concern for me.
The climate is definitely changing at a rapid pace. But should the world be worried? I do not think that many people are going to change the way they conduct business unless they can personally profit one way or the other from climate change. The climate is changing. But I do not think it is a crisis.
The problem is that people need $300 billion annually to keep up the fight. That is a hefty price tag to pay for the United States, or whoever will pay, most likely the United States. Those resources can be better spent on education in the inner city failing schools. But throwing money at the climate or the schools is not going to change the outcome. On the school front, in order for a child to be successful, both parents need to be involved in their children's education. That is hard if people have to work two jobs each to make the school board meetings or whatever else, a Special Education meeting that they need to attend.
As for climate change, I do not think it is a hoax. The problem is that people do not care or at least do not care enough, to spend $300billion to save the planet. As always, comments accepted.
