PRESIDENT TRUMP SHOULD LET IRELAND DO WHAT IT WANTS

President Trump dove into a hot-button issue in British politics. He has asked for the reunification of Ireland.
This was a big mistake on his part. If the people of Northern Ireland want to remain a nation and stick with England, then so be it. I see no problem with Northern Ireland being a part of England.
President Donald Trump has the right to comment on international policy. He is the leader of the free world and must make comments on international relations. For the British, telling the President to stay out of international politics is against President Trump's freedom of speech granted by the US Constitution.
What this really boils down to is the English are still upset that America is even a nation and would have rather seen it as their colony. Northern Ireland is seen as a colony by the British.
President Trump has every right to comment on international relations. As for me, if Northern Ireland wants to be another country separate from Ireland and be aligned with England, so be it; let them have the freedom to do so.
