BIDEN’S SOCIALISM BAILS OUT MICROCHIPS

President Biden is not a free market capitalist now.  I think he was once before in the US Senate but now the Democratic establishment has gotten a hold of him.  President Biden wants to socialize the semi-chip industry.

President Biden, through the Department of Commerce, struck a deal with Intel to provide $8.5 billion in funding and another $11 billion in loans.  The federal government should not be in the business of making loans to private industries.  For that matter, making a loan to a private industry or individual is the work of the private banks.  If the government is involved in making a loan to a private corporation then I fear that the government can coerce the private industry to do the government's bidding.  That is not the job of the government or the bank.  Both entities are mutually exclusive of each other and should remain so.  With the bailing out of industries, President Biden is interfering with free market capitalism and indeed bringing about socialism by choosing the winners and losers in American society.

Semiconductors are a major part of the American economy.  It would be harmful for the government to take over that industry.  It seems like now of days the government ruins everything it touches.  Maybe that has always been the case. Semi-conductors are a major part of the American economy.  They power many things like electric vehicles, refrigerators, satellites, defense systems, and more.  The problem I feel with so much government control the government can spy on Americans with their electronic devices.  Just kidding.  Then again what Am I thinking maybe not?  The government already tracks the cell phone calls of government employees, the track internet usage of government employees and they probably would track private citizens if given the chance. Then again I shouldn’t give them any ideas.

In Chandler, Arizona, President Biden is giving government-backed fabs.  We all have used a fab at some point or another to check into the local gym, log into our office computer, log into the office door, etc.  Now, with the government in the electrical fob business, President Biden can keep a watchful eye on your every move.   I don’t know about you but I do not want President Biden spying on me, but he probably already does. 

President Joe Biden also claims to be the most pro-union President.  A word about unions from a personal perspective.  I was in a union.  Although I enjoyed having a job, I did not prefer to be in a union.  I prefer to negotiate my own pay and business work or contracts with my own boss.  I am a college-educated person with a disability.  I do not need anyone negotiating my contracts except for me, the employer, and my attorney.  I do not need a middleman, nor do I want one.   If you want to join a union you should be free to do so.  But no one should ever be forced to join a union, take a Covid Vaccine to keep a job, or be forced to do anything for that matter.   As always comments accepted.
