HOUSING BILL BECOMES LAW
By: Derek Varsalona
Should every American have a house? That is what the Housing Affordability Bill plans to do. It became law despite President Trumps non signature. But what is going to happen is the direct opposite. As the federal government injects money into the housing market, that is only going to make housing more expensive in both rich and poor, drug-infested and prostitution-infested communities. I support both the legalization of all drugs, which will bring down overdoses, and prostitution should be legal across the United States in the world's oldest profession.
The federal housing law is going to do the exact opposite of what it is intended to do. It is going to make housing more expensive. It is going to leave more people homeless or in need of housing in apartments. Not everyone deserves to live in a house. Only the people who can afford the American dream of home ownership should be able to get it without the government's help. As always, comments accepted.
