It is pretty difficult to live in a society where you have a disability.  It makes it even tougher when you do not have emergency care services available to you.  Many Disabled New Yorkers and New Yorkers in general are going to feel the pain when Mount Sini Hospital is slated to close on July 12, 2024.

Mount Sini has been fiscally in the red for some time now.  The hospital has lost millions in revenue.  You would think with coronavirus funding that the hospital would have been saved.  But it seems like the fear of coronavirus is fading.  Fewer people are wearing masks.  There are still a whole bunch of anti-vaxxers that will not get vaccinated. 

The downfall of Mount Sinai Hospital was a lack of funding.  It is millions of dollars in the red.  However, with the loss of a hospital comes a loss of jobs.  It is loss of access to emergency care when people need it the most.  Now, there is going to be less immediate care for people with disabilities and non-disabled people alike.

Due to the lack of funding, there have been unapproved service cuts.  This is definitely going to affect this disabled population.  The lack of access to a hospital means the difference between life and death, especially if a hospital is not close to your home or apartment.  As always comments accepted.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS LEAD TO DISABILITIES IN HOUSTON

It is not just climate change that is killing us.  It is also people's inconsideration of taking care of their own environment that is killing us.  Due to the human's lack of consideration, Houston is now known as America's dirtiest city.  Due to Houston's uncleanliness people are coming down with multiple disabilities. 

Houston is by far considered America's Dirtiest City in 2024.   Due to its uncleanliness people are coming down with multiple disabilities.  Houston has become known for the people obtaining lung cancer and it's not just from smoking but from environmental factors as well. Breast Cancer rates are also high in the Houston area.  The cause of this disease is due to the poor air quality in Houston and pest problems such as an infestation of cockroaches that may be carriers of certain diseases. 

Other diseases such as the risk of strokes, pulmonary disease, and Trachea are common in the Houston area. 

I consider the health effects were caused by the poor environmental factors in the Houston area. As always comments accepted.

BIDEN PUSHES FOR CLEANER ENERGY

This week, President Biden made a push for the Liberals Green Agenda forcing it on the American people against their will.   He attacked the Carbon Market as bad for America and is choosing sides in the economy.  President Biden is pushing socialism with more government control of the free market this time with imposing environmental standards and bypassing Congress in the process.

President Biden claims that this is his most ambitious climate agenda in history.   It would be nice if he believed in letting Congress take a vote on the matter.  I do not think he is going to let Congress take a vote since he knows that even with AOC he does not have the votes to get the measure past  Congress. To get his agenda passed President Biden has to resort to bribing big business to get along with him.  In his bribery attempt, President Biden secured $860 billion through public bribery.  President Biden is trying to get rid of your gas guzzler.  Watch for him to give you a tax credit if you buy an electric car.

President Biden wants his legacy to be a clean energy initiative.  President Biden is pushing for a clean planet, cutting gas emissions by half in 2030 and reaching net zero emissions by 2050.  Funny, I thought that Captain Planet was a cartoon, but with President Biden in office it seems like the real thing. 

Now, to make matters worse it seems that big corporations are on board with the initiative.  It is okay if they willingly went on board to do this that is the choice.  It would be a totally different scenario if the corporations were bribed to make the initiative.   President Biden states in his outline that companies are going to be bribed to make the investment.  President Biden is going to give companies carbon credits for followers, which is basically a kickback for behavior like a good little child that follows their parents' orders.  Or it is more like giving a dog or cat treat for following directions.  In this case, the America people are the dependent animals and President Biden is our master.   As always comments accepted.

NBA LEGEND BILL WALTON DIES OF CANCER

NBA LEGEND BILL WALTON SUCCUMBS TO CANCER

Former NBA Legend, Bill Walton lost his battle with Cancer at the age of  71.

The NBA legend had a prolonged battle with cancer and lost his battle on Monday, May 27, 2024. He was a member of the two-time NCAA champions UCLA Bruins under the guidance of Hall of Fame Coach John Wooden. When he went to the NBA he also excelled at basketball.   

Bill Walton won the Most Valuable Player award during the 1977-78 NBA Season. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993 and was a sports play-by-play announcer for NBA games.

Bill Walton was an analyst for the NBA in in 2002, where he worked in two different stints one with ESPN as an analyst and one with ABC as an analyst. 

During his career, Bill Walton scored 13.3 points per game with a grand total of 6,215 points in his career.  He was also a great rebounder with 10.5 rebounds per game totaling 4,923 rebounds.  He was a great shot blocker averaging 2.2 blocked shots per game totaling 1,034 in his career.  But Bill Walton was not a selfish player by a long shot. He ended his career totaling 1,590 assists over his career span.  As always comments accepted.

CLIMATE CHANGE PUSHES YELLOW FEVER TO CANADA

Canadian Justin Wood was amongst the stars as an athlete in Canada and excelled in many sports.  But Yellow Fever from a tick attack sidelined any dreams of him having future athletic endeavors.   The disease prevented him from going to work or playing sports and he suffered academically.   He felt helpless no longer being part of society and now having a disability.   To make matters worse it took five years for the doctors to diagnose him with an illness. 

The cause of Lyme Disease has increased in Canada, by 1000% over the past decade.  One of the main drivers of this is climate change.  Climate change has caused the disease-carrying mosquitos, carrying Yellow Fever to move northward to Canada due to the warming temperatures in the United States. 

Climate change is affecting people in more ways than one.  Not only has the climate gotten warmer.  Now disease-carrying animals are moving Northward to adapt and adjust to a climate to survive.  I would say that climate change is a direct effect of Justin Wood’s disability. THE DISABLED ARE ESPECIALLY AFFECTED BY CLIMATE CHANGE

HOW THE DISABLED CAN DEAL WITH AN ENVIRONMENTAL CRISIS

Memorial  Day weekend shaped up to be a heat advisory.  Across the nation, people have been dealing with extreme heat in the summer months.  This is definitely due to climate change.  With the thermostat and mercury rising disabled people must have an evacuation plan ready in case they experience power outages.  I am extremely worried for people who have disabilities that rely on electronic medical devices.

People with disabilities especially should have an evacuation plan ready in case there is an emergency.  Rely on a close friend or neighbor to coordinate an emergency evacuation plan prior to the catastrophic event occurring.

Half of the nation is now in jeopardy by climate change.  As the climate changes these storms still get bigger and bigger.  I believe that Superstorm Sandy on Long Island was a result of climate change.  I did okay in Super Storm Sandy.  But then again I have a mild case of Cerebral Palsy and do not use an electric wheelchair or any wheelchair for that matter.  But that does not mean I have it easy.  Due to my disability of short-term memory loss, I often forget important information in a short period of time.   So I need assistance in storing information and emergency contacts.  When the power goes out and my cell phone dies that is when I am in the most trouble of not contacting my emergency contacts.

Since I live with my parents we have an emergency evacuation plan, should we ever need that.  It is best to go over an emergency evacuation plan with your loved ones, or people who assist you if you need assistance.  As always comments accepted.

CHINA IS TESTING BIDEN

Americans, your dementia-ridden President, President Joseph Biden is being tested by China.  He is not able to stand up to the test of time.  Over the weekend China conducted military drills over Taiwan in an effort to scare the Democratic Island nation.  China is conducting military drills around Taiwan.  This is China’s shot at controlling the Democratic Island Nation and trying to make it into a Communist state. This was the largest drill that China has ever enacted and they are testing both President Biden and Taiwan President Lai Ching-Te.

China conducted military drills off the coast of Taiwan.  This is a big test for Biden.  But if President Biden wants to show a position of strength he will stand down to China.  The fact of the matter is that America is most likely not going to win in a confrontation with the world’s largest military.  You see this was all part of the grand Chinese plan.  First, they unleash the coronavirus from a Wuhan Lab.  Then we people are so sick they can’t fight back.  Last, as people are sick and dying the Chinese launch a surprise attack on an unsuspecting enemy in the world.  It is all part of China’s grand plan.

China is testing its ability to control the island of Taiwan.  They are going to get it.  Every time President Biden tells a country needs to go into another country we see the aggressor ignoring his pleas and going to the assigned area.  Israel was asked by Biden to not go into Rafa. Israel went into Rafa. Now,  President Biden does not want China to go into Taiwan.  China will go to Taiwan.  Now, is the time to see what President Biden is made of.  President Biden should stand down.  China is not a country that America is going to win against, against the world's largest military.

This is a big test for the new Taiwanese President, President Lai Cheng-Te.  This is Taiwan’s war and Taiwan’s war alone.  American bloodshed should not be given in the defense of Taiwan.  As always comments accepted.

KENYA IS PAYING THE BIDEN BRIBE

The Biden Bribe is back in Africa.  This time the scam falls on the nation of Kenya.  President Biden appears to be investing in Kenya.  But what is he really doing?  He is going into Africa to steal Kenya’s natural resources.   The biggest natural resources in Kenya are gold, gas, and oil.  With gas prices being high and inflation being high it is no wonder that President Biden is trying to steal their gold to hedge against inflation and steal their oil and gas to lower gasoline prices.  This is more about American imperialism than helping out the nation of Kenya.

President Biden says that he wants to advance human rights in Kenya.  That is good I applaud that but what type of human rights.  Obviously, President Biden is a lapsed Catholic who believes in abortion so it is not to save the children.  Is he trying to stop the hunger?  If so, hunger can be better served by food banks and private charities than a government entity.  

President Biden is also worried about disinformation.  But disinformation breaks both ways.  the once of the biggest Biden disinformation is the Inflation Reduction Act.  The government intrusion into our economy with the Inflation Reduction Act has done nothing to decrease inflation, but it actually made inflation even worse. 

President Biden says that he wants to increase women's political participation.  Yet, America still does not have a female President, and god forbid if Vice President Kamala Harris ever becomes President.  The reason I do not like Kamala Harris is not that she is a female.  It is not because she is black and it is not because she is a Democrat.  The reason I would not vote for her is that she does not take anything seriously.  She seems to laugh nervously at the most important things possible.  It must be her defense mechanism when she does not have an answer and quite frankly I find it appalling. 

President Biden claims America and Kenya will work to form a transparent government.  The fact of the matter is that is a lie so far.  America does not have a transparent government.  We have a very secretive government that turns its guns on its own citizens when they are challenged i.e. look up Kent State riots. 

The United States and Kenya are promoting human rights for all.  That is funny since abortion is not a human right it is the murder of an innocent child.  

President Biden is trying to fight corruption in Kenya.  But President Biden is one of the most corrupt members of the Presidency.  Still to this day, the FBI does not know whose Cocaine was left in the White House.  I suggest they may want to investigate drug addict Hunter Biden.  I support the legalization of all drugs as it will get people the help they need and come out of the shadows (hopefully).  But as of right now cocaine is illegal and Hunter Biden was engaging in an illegal act.  There he should be arrested, charged with harboring an illegal substance, and forced into drug rehab again to try and straighten his life out before it is too late and by late I mean death.

President Biden is also supplying $7 million dollars to the police departments.  Well, that is nice, but what are we trying to form a police state and over-intrusive government in Kenya?  Knowing this I predict there is going to be an uprising in Kenya in a matter of days, weeks, or months.

President Biden is also giving scholarships to Kenyan nationals.  I do not mind people having an equal shot at an education.  But this is not what is happening.  A Kenyan student is taking the seat of a natural-born American citizen and that is just wrong. 

Another problem is President Biden is trying to advance socialism worldwide.  This time in Kenya he is pushing the Green New Deal.  If the Green New Deal can’t even work yet in America the richest country in the world, how is it going to work in a poor country like Kenya?

Another problem is the job situation.  America has an abundance of job opportunities. Right now, if you don’t want a job is the only reason you can not get a job.  The fact of the matter is that the wages are not keeping up with inflation that was caused by the Biden Administration.   But President Biden wants to create jobs in Kenya at least 50,000 of them instead of bringing those jobs home to the United States. 

Another problem with inflation is adequate housing.  San Francisco is an expensive Housing Market and there are many homeless.  But instead of creating housing in America or San Francisco for that matter another Liberal district President Biden is going overseas to Kenya to create housing. 

The Biden Kenyan policy might have good intentions.  But President Biden wants to be in Kenya to steal their natural resources.  Instead of providing housing and jobs to Kenyans the better approach would be to start by creating jobs and affordable housing right here at home in America.
